Notes | Mark has inherited his father's athleticism. He has been involved in athletics since he was 5 years old constantly winning. Set records at school and in local competitions and he represented the ACT in the Under 12s Championships in Tasmania and was Shot and Discus Champion for the First Annual Combined Forces Athletics Competition As time went on Mark moved away from athletics to football and he has spent 3 years in Montreal playing semi-professional football for the Montreal Irish. Football is Rugby Union, for those that are confused. His great-grandfather (on my side) represented Sydney University and New South Wales on tours to New Zealand. He was asked to represent Australian in England but declined because he needed to finish his medical degree. Mark is 6 feet 6 inches tall, well muscled and very fast. He play wing and often just runs through the opposition. Marks other interests are many and varied. But perhaps they centre around his friends and family with lots of international travel thrown in. Although Mark was a "carbon copy" of his eldest brother in the first couple of years, he is very much his own man and again some-one I'm extremely proud of not necessarily for what he has achieved (though I am very proud of that) but for the person he his. Kind, caring, ethical and moral. |
